Death of Thos. Bolton.
The death of Thomas Bolton took
place on Friday of last week. as the

forty-hve years of age. His wife pre -

The Goderich Baptist. ehurch will
celebrate its ninth anniversary on
Sunday. May 28th. Special sermons
will be preached by the pastor, Rev.
J. Pollock. and in the afternoon a
medal mission of the Sunday school
will be held and addressed by Rev.

taken at these services in aid of the
building fund. On Monday evening
following, the ladies of the church are

Chairman Kelly Is Busy.
The improvements to the court
house park. as planned by Chairman
Kelly, of the parka committee of the
town council. are going steadily for-
ward. The numerous hare spots in
the grass plots have been cultivated
and re -sown with grans seed and new
plots are being formed in spacrs which
will include for ground occupied by
the mortar guns on the east and west
sides of the court house. The Hower
and grass keds encircling the court
house will be made wider. The open
spice about the building will be trim-
med to the shape of an oval, and
paths. diverting from the amain lyslki
on the east end wart sales, will be
made in an effort to induce the public
to follow the paths and give the grass
• chant'. All pedestrian.: will do well
to note the request to beep to the
walks, as, in the event of their not cur-
ing so, other step. will he taken to

Western ()utario Bowling Association

week commencing Monday, July 24.
