ion Day denlonetretion have been held
and preparations etre now well in
hand for the celebration of the day in
Goldericb will .big program of inter-
esting doings. Committees have hewn
formed. the citizens have subscribed
generouslyto the funds, the aaxis-
tance of te town council has been en-
listed, and everything looks well for a
red-letter day on the coining First of
July.
Although the program in its gen-
eral features follows the lines of pre-
vious relehrattoos, some new features
are being introduced which promise to
lend special interest to the proceed-
ings of the day.
The celebration will commence in
the morning with a Brand procession.
combining the features of a -trades
procession, a parade. of decorated
vehicles. including automobiles, oar-
riagesand bicycles, and a'cielithump-
inn parade. Prizes are being offered
for the best turnout in the various
