T. Griffin read a paper on "Housecleaning" and Miss Anne McGregor one on "The Evils of Fault- finding." There were alio several musical selections, solos and a read- mit by Mrs, Beckett. A number of new members were added to the roll. This branch although in its infancy hae a good membership and tbe ladies are much interested in the work. The next meeting will be held at Mn. Kingswell, which took place last Thursday, was well attended. Mrs. Kingswell was quite young, not being thirty years of age. The funeral took place from the residence of her father, Joseph Coot, on the Point road, and the service* were conducted by Rev. W. Conway, pastor of Nile Methodist rhumb. The deceased suffered much all winter, the doctors not being able to Afford relief. Bare WARD WEATHER. After their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Pickering moved to their new home, where they had ever since resided. She was a member of. Hope -Methodist. church.
