Accident to Dan Harrison.
On Sat a7 evening last Dan Har-
rison met with an accident at the
(ioderich 1laning Mills, which has
confined hit to bet. They were test-
ing sumo n w machinery, when the
driving piffle burst and a portion of
it struck Mr. l.arrison in the body.
The pulley w of wood and the
broken piece struck the machine be-
fore reaching Mr. Harrison, so that
the force of the blow was broken.
We hope to see Mr. Morrison able to
be at his 'work again very shortly.
This was in connection with the
grain -cutter which hae been recently
installed at the mill. a move which
has proved to be veil popular with
the farmers.
Water and Light Commission.
At the meeting of the water and
light commit...ioti on Monday night, Mr.
Gamble, on behalf of the tennis club
requested that a 2 inch pipe be lair
on Picton street to the club's- grounds
and that the club be allowed to per
the water in the morning. The re-
