Prominent Wroxeter Man Dead.
John sanderegn, at good citizen of
Wroxeter, finished his course on Sun-
day of last week. Deceased, who was
in his seventy-eighth year, had
keen in failing health for the past
year, but had been confined to his
fwd for only a fortnight. He was one
of the pioneer men of the village and
it it said that the brick building he
erected fur a store was the first of the
kind in the county. Until forced by
ill -health to resign the position he had
diseharged the duties, of postmaster
very satisfactorily. During hie resi-
dence of .inure than half-arentury in
the village his uprightness and kindli-
ness had won for hien the esteem of
all with whom he had to do. He is
sprvived by bis widow, three sons and
three daughter's.
Sensation at Exeter.
Exeter is at last feeling a sense of
relic( after the gruesome sensation of
the last few weeks. Ugly rumors had
been chrrent in the vicinity for some
titue in regard to the death of Wm.
Taylor, of Centralia, which occurred
at the home of his mother-in-law,
Mrs. Hatter. of Exeter, on the let of

the body was taken from the grave
