Killed in Auto Crash.

The Chicago Tribune of December
13th contained a long account of an
eutomobile accident, as the result of
which P. U,. Hoyt. son -In-law of Ben.
jawin Allen, lost his life. The car
was a twenty -horsepower lind collided
with a coal wagon at a high rate of
speed. Mr. Hoyt vies taken td_the
hoeprtar-itigianston and was oper-
ated upon, but the care of live phyisi•
clans failed to save hint. Besides 'the
fatal injury four men were hurt in the
crash. Mr. Hoyt was born in Chieege
September :35th, 1872, and in 1893 was
married to Miss Bessie Wade Allen.
He leaves one child, a daughter,
named May Elizabeth Hoyt.
