RAILWAY MATraRA.-Rewve Bailie
was called to Guelph this week in
connection with the project for tb.
building of a C. P. R. hranch line
thn,ugh Dungannon. We under-
stand he went to confer with the
officiate of the Guelph A Goderich Rail-
way, which is virtually a part of the
C. P. R. system, and in connection
with which the propowd line will
probably be built. The line will no
doubt connect with the -Dew Walker-
tnn & Lueknow branch- of there
R., and the southern connection will
probably be made with the G. A G,
line in the neighborhood of McGaw.
1 ntil Mr. Bailie's return we cannot
state what the prospects are for the
early construction of this line. but
Dungannon fully expects 14. figure on
the railway time tables before many
months pass.
