The Y. M. C. A. Project.
A deep bud lively interest in the
work of the Young \len'* Christiau
Association may be expected tonlatni-
feat itself among the people of (lode -
rich as a result of the addresses given
Inst Muudey in the various churches of
the town by Messrs'. Boarlrnen, Rob-
erts, Stewart and Cullens, who have
been representing the general Associa-
tion in the effort t0 organize the
county of Huron for Y. M. C. A.
work. Large congregations heard
splendid a.ddreetes front these men,
and in the afternoon a rousing meet-
ing was held in the court house, which
wan crowded to the doors. Plans to
secure the necessary financial support
are now being worked out, and there
is an excellent prospect that the Y. 11.
C. A. will Noon be established on an
assured footing in the county of
Huron. Huron is the that county in
the Dominion in which this county
plan is teeing tried, although many
counties iu the 1'nit,Nl States ore so

Their Annual Success.
The (.oderich Women's Institute

annual slipper :old entort'u,,uicut 'last
Thursday night. The affair wail held
at the (ktdfellowa' Hall and the large

excellent miPeo' is always expected
