short Address was also given by Mrs.
Rutnam, of Ceylon, whose home
was formerly in Clinton. The offer-
ing amounted to ").
Children's Doty will he observed in
Knox church next Sunday, according
to the suggestion of t he General As.
sembly. Instead of the usual session,
the .Sunday school will meet in the
hody of the church and the service.
"Go Work," as prepared by the Gen-
eral Assembly's Sunday school com-
mittee• will be carried out. At the
morning service the pastor will speak
to parents, and in the evening to
young people.
A meeting was held on Monday
night at the residence of G. F. Blair,
at which what is to Ire known as the
Knox Church Young Men's Club was
fortned. About twenty-five young
men were in attendance And the elec-
tion of ofllcerearwill be held next Mon -
der evening. The club's meetings
will be of a threefold character. flat

the other churches will form similar
clubs, which could unite and eventu-
