THE Corticelli Bilk Co. have arranged to hold a series of classes of art
needle -work in Goderich. They will be in charge of two ladies from the
Ottawa school who have had wide experience and are experts in the wont.
These ladies come to Goderich direct from Peterborough, where they close a
most successful class this week. We consider ourselves fortunate that we
have been able to secure them for Goderich, as this is the first and only place
of this size that they have visited, as practically all their spare time has been
taken up in the cities and a few of the larger towns, they being engaged by
the Corticelli Silk. Cu. to give a certain number of lessons in each year They
will.bring with them a complete assortment of the famous Corticelli wash
silk and everything required in the work, as well as an exbibltion of finlshed
articles which in itself will be well worth seeing. Classes will be held in our
store. We bave arranged a room upstairs for this purpose. The course of
instruction • is absolutely without cost to those taking it. There will be two
lessons a day, commencing Tuesday, February 23rd, and continuing for three
weeks. You are welcome to take any number from one lesson to the full course.
Even if you do not care to take a lesson come and see the exhibition of
complete work. We feel sure it will interest you.
That these lessons are given under the saapices of the Corticelli Bili[ Co.
is a guarantee that they %re first-class in every particular and we have as
hesitation whatever in recommending them to the ladies of Goderich.
