ing been imposed for the alleged rea-

ber ,death became his housekeeper, and
resumed the care of her sister's chil-
dren, during twelve months. The ap-
pellant then proposed marriage and
was accepted, and the necessary dis-
pensation was obtained from the
Cbureb authorities but on the eve of
the day, fixed for the ceremony the
appellant changed hie mmol, refused
to marry the plaintiff, and eeortly
afterwards married one of Mr friends
residing In the Immediate neighbor.
