ing James McMaster, • young man
about 17 Mars of age. living with his
uncle, George Evans. was drowned In
the Murray Canal. It appears he and
another young man went in bathing.
Being unable to swim. he got beyond
his depth and was drowned. The body
was recovered about an hour after.
Some eight years ago his father met
the same fate in the Skeen& River.
