p weakening. You cannot af-
ford to fall below your healthy
weight. If you will take Scott's
Emulsion of Cod-liver Oil with
kly-popho6Phites of Lime and
Soda when your friends first
tell you you are getting thin,
„u will quickly restore your
he.tithy weight and may thereby
prevent serious illness.
Persons have been known to
gain a pound a day by taking
an ounce a day of Scott's Emul-
sion. This seems extraordinary;
but it is Absolutely true.

/mean/ Femora•• (:.,
Gentlemen, ---The No. 9 Howard
Furnace put in for me last Summer
by Messrs. J. H. WoraeU & Co. hag
given good 'satisfaction and, kept the
house comfortable and at an even tem-
perature during it winter of excep-
tional severity. One advantage is
the rots* with which it is regulated,
but in nay estimation that in which it
chiefly allows its superiority, is the
entire absence of gas or dust in the
house, which has been on much com
plained of in Furnaces of inferior con
structiur,. 1 shall certainly recom-
mend the Ilowarel to those contem-
plating purchasing a Furnace.
Yours truly.
