June 30, when the old Dominion line steam -

reported that • wealthy old gentleman,
named Cicero Harrison ('ase, of Norfolk,
Va., had been lost overboard. A woman
who mid she was his widowed daughter -

er .t New York. The body of the old man
wee found on the Virginia coast, and a1 -
though he was known to have • large gum
of money on him when he left Norfolk, Va.,
there was none found on the body.
A New York World reporter stated that
he had treed Mrs. Oliver and identified her
as Mrs. Beaton, of Burlington village. The
old man had previously lived in Burling-
ton, having retired with • torture of $25,-
000, which he made at carriage building.
