Meetings this past quarter were fairly

Agricultural School at Guelph, passing
the examinations there in Jane with
credit and winning the silver medal in

as an assistant teacher under the super-
vision of Professor Shaw, which on
Thursday of last week he went to

OBITuaRY.—James Finn, an old and
respected rsadeat of this village, died
on Wednesday of last week. His re-
mains were interred iu the R.C. ceme-
tery on Fnday.
The average attendance of our school
for the month of September was 53
At the late promotion ezaminatioa held
on. thttaber 18th eight of our third clam
pupils were promoted to the fourth class,
also four of our second class to the third.

parents, where a very pleasant day was
spent. In the evening, they, accom-

which we noticed a set of china dishes

Church by our respected pastor, Rev B.

pray of orange hlosoma. She was in -
..d a marvel of loveliness. And every
ne voted Mr Dalton a lucky as well as
happy man. The bridesmaid, Miss
