We believe that not • few young meo
estrum from taking any steps for getting
their nuns put on the Voters' List fur
the Dominica for fear:that in some way
this will make them liable for income or
statute labor tax. In this they are en•
tirely mistaken. The Iholwuion Franchise
is altogether separate from the Ootario
Franchise and it does nut follow when
m voter's name is put down on it for in-
come that this o nk.. him liable for any
municipal tax. The one thing has no
connection whatever with the other.
Young men twenty-one years of age and
British subjects, or who are naturalized,
and earning $300 a year, either in cash
or in kind, ran be put ou the Dominion
Voter' List without any fear of any in-
00me or statutes labor tax. Young men,
bear this in mind, and if you are nut on
the Voters' List already sew that qtm
pot on by personal declaration. Al

Tug death of Mr T. a Pardee remotes

ability, and before he was stricken down
with his fatal malady was looked to by

successor to Mr Mowat in the Premier-
