They too the somewhat unusual plan of giving the work to the local printers, who were given the sum of 5400 to is- sue a publication that would cover the ground. Must places would have gone out of their way to give the money to outsiders, but the Goderich Council evi- dently took the view of the matter that if the home papers oould do the work as well they should tie given the prefer- ence.
