The deceas- ed was of a social temperament, and made many friends ninong both young and old. He was one of the most earn- est supporters of the Bible Christian Mission, and was rewarded by seeing a church built here in 1875 His vacant - seat reminds the church goers of the de- parture of one of their moat earnest and venerable members. A large conilourse attended his burial on Thursday. His funeral sermon will be preached in Zion church on Sunday next.
