The examination of tho pupils of S. S. No. 6, of this township, took place on Thursday,under the direction of the new teacer, Mr. James Regan. A large number of visitors, interested in achoo attain were present, and expressed their hearty approval of the labors of the teacher. Each clue showed • marked improvement In all their studies, especial ly in arithmetic. It was a very success- ful examination. Mr. Regan has gained the confidence of his pupils, and as he devotes all his energies towards perfect- ing them in their studies it is not to be wondered at that their proficiency is re- markable.
