A dreadful calamity happened at Sal-
ina, Ont., on Friday. Nov. 3td, in the
fancily of Mr. Vl'illi•m Trimble, an old
resident of the village. It appears the
family was suffevinr from cold, and be-
fore retiring for the night Mrs. Trimble
prepared some herb tea, which lir.
Trimble and two daughters -Maggie and
Ida --partook of freely. and were soon
prostrated. Medical assistance was sum-
