He was making his annual pre- Christmas visit to the children of the community. In spite of the uncooperative weather a good many children were on hand to receive their treat from Santa when he met with them at the Legion Hall. On his arrival here jolly St. Nick was welcomed at the Mc- Donald Lumber Yard. The par- ade, unfortunately curtailed by the adverse elements, preceded him and his prancing reindeer after their cold trip. Accomoda- ted on a suitably decorated truck they arrived in the business area, escorted by a police cruis- er, and to the music of the Royal Candian Legion Pipe Band.
