Elliott. , 27-50-1 ion of the annual visit of our Minor hockey players, along with coaches, parents and friends , to Garden City, Mich., for a.hockey tournament with Garden City players. This year there was an addition to the program. Prior to the games there was a cere- mony marking the official open- ing of the new Garden City Civic Arena. Brussels council members were invited to attend and Murray Gaunt, our M.P.P. was a participant in the ceremony. How nice that such friendly relations exist between two communities of different countries who meet yearly in hockey combat. Too .4,1 there isn't more of the same taking place. Our village seemed com- paratively . quiet Saturday. No doubt it was because a good many youngsters and adults travelled to. Garden City to enjoy the hos- pitality of their American friends.
