To the Electors of the Village
of Brussels
Friend; Friend; I suppose you carry
a memento of some sort in that
locket of yours?
Woman; Yes, it's a lock of my
husband's hair.
Friend; But your husband is
still alive.
Woman; 'yes, but his hair is
gone.
Smiles.
To the Electors of Brussels
Having considerable experience as a
Commissioner of the Public. Utilities
Commission, I again seek your sup-
ort,
Re-elect J. C. Krauter
Having been your Reeve for the past two years has been a
pleasure and a challenge.
I had served five years as municipal councillor prior to being
Reeve. This past experience is essential in making policy on the
many important issues that we, as your representatives, must
make to effectively transact the business that comes before us.
I enjoy representing Brussels at County Council and was
priviledged to serve for the past year as Vice-chairman on the
Board of Management at Huronview, the home for our aged.
In Brussels, as on County level, there are many decisions
to be made. Let us be sure that we always make the right ones.
I have had a good council to work with and it has been a very
busy but satisfying term which ended our first 100 years.
To be a growing community, we must all work hard and en-
deavour to work together, to make Brussels a better place in which
to live.
I would like to continue as your reeve and will do my best for
our community on your behalf.
I SOLICIT YOUR SUPPORT ON DECEMBER 4th, 1972
