The Ontario Housing Corporation, at the request of your municipal council, is. !onsidering the development of senior citizen housing in the town. To determine the local interest in this type of accommodation , survey questionaires are now being distrib- uted. ONLY BY FILLING OUT A QUESTIONAIRE CAN YOU HELP TO DETERMINE WHETHER A PROJECT SHOULD BE DEVELOPED. Notice to those people interested in Senior Citzen Housing Accommodation: —Those persons now owning homes would be given a period of six months or more to sell their properties after they move into the Senior Citizens' Housing Unit. Mr. St. John received minor injuries. Damages were estimated at $1,250.00. Frank King, Wroxeter, and Margaret Underwood, Gorrie, were involved in a collision on Highway #87, east of Gorrie. No one was injured. Damages were estimated at $1,500.00. Ch- arges are pending. This accident occurred on November 16. On November 15, Allan F. Dawson, Hanover, andCarlSoeh-_ ner of Fergus, were involved in a car-train accident on the Howick-Carrick Township line, west of Highway #9. No one was injured. Damages were es- timated at $2,200.00. Short Shots (Continued from Page 1) Robert McKinley, Huron PC member, has asserted his in- tention to continue his battle in Ottawa for rail transportation for this area of Western Ontario. It is certainly an urgent necessity for this community to have re- liable transportation of some sort. The outcome of the pres- sure Mr. McKinley exerts will be watched by residents of this com- munity with intensive interest.
