The wedding ceremony took
place September 16th, 1972 at
4 o'clock at the --Egmondville
United Church with Rev. T. E.
Hancock officiating. Mrs. Anne
James, sister of the bride,
was the maid of honour and the
bridesmaids were Miss Carol-
anne Doig, Miss Angela Dever-
eaux, and Miss Janice Dietz.
Junior Attendants were Amanda
James, Stephenie Boshart, Cas-
sandra James; Ring Bearer, Todd
James. The best man was Brian
Phillips and Bill MacLean, Ron
Beuerman and Ray Devereaux
ushered the guests.
The couple are living in
Egmondville.
by the mother of the bride.
Mr. Robert Blake, R.R.2,
Brussels, was his brother's
groomsman, Mr. Fred Steph-
enson and Mr. Don Fischer were
ushers.
The groom, best man and
ushers wore tuxedos with white
jackets and boutonnieres of red
carnations.
The reception was held in the
Royal Canadian Legion Hall,
Brussels, where the bride's table
was centred with a three tiered
wedding cake with a cascade of
pink roses down the side of the
cake, flanked by pink swirl can-
dles.
The bride's mother received
in empire styled lime green
polyester lace of floor length,
with slim sleeves. Accessories
were dark brown and her corsage
of rust flowers.
The groom's mother wore
fushia polyester knit, floor length
empire waist and slim sleeves.
Her accessories were black with
corsage of' white flowers.
For a wedding trip to North-
ern Ontario the bride chose a
brown and orange floral gore
shifted dress, with dark brown
accessories and yellow rose cor-
sage.
The newlywed couple will re-
side at R.R.3, Brussels, Ont.
Guests attended from Ham-
ilton, London, Toronto, Windsor,
Kitchener, Seaforth, Waterloo,
Huntsville and Brussels area.

Blake exchanged wedding vows
in. St. Ambrose Roman Catholic
Church, 'Brussels on Saturday,
October 14th.
Father Kiminski officiated at
the four o'clock ceremony in a
setting of candelabra and multi-
colored mums.
The bride is a daughter of
Mr. and. Mrs. Stuart Stevenson
of R.R.2, Brussels. Mr. and Mrs.
George Blake, R.R.2, Brussels
are parents of the groom.
Traditional wedding music
was provided by Mrs. Fred Steph-
enson who also accompanied the
soloist, Mr. Robert Cunningham.
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, wore a floor length
dress of white polyester knit,
in princess lines adorned with
lace, styled with hooded sleeve-
less vest. Shoes were white
peau-de-soie. Her bridal flow-
ers were long stemmed red
roses.
The maid of honor, Miss Anna
Lee Stevenson, sister of the
bride, and bridesmaids, Mrs.
Don Fischer and Miss Joyce
Blake, sister of the groom, were
dressed in floor length gowns of
floral polyester warp knit with
navy background, flowers in
shades of pink, with lime green
leaves, empire styled, gathered
slightly under the bodice with
long, ,straight sleeves. Their
shoes were lime green.
