of a pretty September wedding,
Friday, September l at, 6:00 p.m..
when Margaret Ann McKerCher
became the bride of Ronald
Howard Larsen. Rev. M.
Kaminski officiated amid a,
setting of pinksnapdragons and
white gladioli. Mrs?Nora Moffatt
Wroxeter, provided organ music
and Mrs. Carl Graber Jr.,
BrUssels sang "0 promise Me"
and "I'll Walk Beside You."
The bride is the danghter of
Mr. and Mrs. Olenn McKercher,
Jamestown and the groom is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald
Larsen, Walkerton.
The bride was given in mar-
riage by her father. She wore a
floor-length gown of white
imported nylon organza over
taffeta. The gown was styled
with a high neckline, a natural
waistline and long full sleeves.
The collar, cuffs and front of
the gown were trimmed with gui-
pure lace threaded with white
satin ribbon. The full length
cathedral train was, attached at
the waistline.n Her three tierred
nylon illusion veil was held in
place by a handmade original
floral lace headpiece, accented
with seed pearls. She carried a
cascade of pink sensation roses.
Mrs. Wayne Elston, Wingham,
was matron of honor. Brides-
maids were Mrs. Fred Colma.,
Toronto, sister of the groom,
Miss Linda McTaggart, London
and Miss Gloria Reed, Ottawa.
They were gowned in like styled
floor-length gown of white
swiss, embossed with pink for-
get-me-nots. Two of the gowns
were lined with pink polyester
and two with green. The atten-
dants carried bouquets of white
carnations and matching rose
florets.
Leann Fraser, Jamestown,
was flower girl. She wore a floor-
length gown of pink and white
F;NISS and carried a dainty basket
of carnations and rose florets.
Michael Berberich of Walkerton,
the groom's nephew, was
the ringbearer.
Best man was, John McLean,
Toronto and guests were ushered
by John McKercher, brother of
the bride and by Ken Brown,
Walkerton and Robert Reay, Kit-
chener. They wore black tuxe-
does with ruffled shirts and pink
and green trim.
•Following the ceremony a
reception was held in the
Brussels Legion Hall. After the
wedding dinner, a dance followed
with music provided by Ken Wil-
bee's Orchestra.
The bride's mother r ceived
guests in a floor-length gown of
green chiffon with a yellow and
green embroidered skirt. She
wore a corsage of yellow roses.
The .groom's mother wore
a floor-length gown in a deep
raspberry shade. Her corsage
was white carnations with pink
roses.
For travelling to Niagara
Falls, the bride chose a two-
piece silk dress in a figured.

gold colour. It featured a white
collar and cuffs. Her acces-
sories were brown seede. A

Mr. and Mrs. Larsen will

at the reception which followed in
the Lucknow Legion Hall. The
bride's mother wore a long
sleeved pink dress and a sleeve-
less jacket of crepe. Her acces-
sories were black and she wore
a corsage of white mums. T he
mother of the groom chose a
dress and coat ensemble of mauve
polyester crepe, black acceisor-
ies and a corsage of yellow mums.
For travelling to Niagara
Falls and Southern Ontario, the
bride donned a long-sleeved tur-
quoise dress with black acces-
sories and a corsage of white
baby mums.
Mr. ,and Mrs. Robinson are
residing at 181 Edward St. Wing-
ham. The bride is employed
at the office of Lloyd - Truax.
Ltd., Wingham.
Out-of-town guests attended
from Windsor, Barrie, Kit-
chener, Sarnia and London. An
honoured guest was the groom's
grandfather, William Humphrey
at St. Helen's.*
Prior to her wedding the
bride was honored at three
showers: in London at the Uni-
versity of Western Ontario; a
community 'shower in White-
church and a shower given by
her girl friends. She was also
the recipient of gifts from the
employees of Lloyd-Truax Ltd.

The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs.Robert W.Grasby
of R.R.#4, Brussels, Ontario and
the groom is the son of Mrs.
Laura Johnston of Belgrave,
Ontario and the late A. McLeod
(Mac) Johnston.
Given in marriage by her.
father, the bride chose a floor-
length gown of white lagoda with
Belgian lace accenting the high
neckline and long full sleeves
with deep buttoned cuffs. A long
detatchable train fell from the
empire waistline. Her tierred
silk illusion veil fell from a
cluster of rosebuds and seed
pearls. She wore an heirloom
necklace and carried a cascade
of orange delight roses centered
with a white orchid.
Mrs. Gary Leitch, sister of
the bride of London was the
matron of honor and the brides-
maids were Miss Joanne Robson
of London and Mrs. William
Phelan of Goderich. They were
dressed alike in floor-length
gowns of chiffon over taffeta fea-
turing an apricot bodice, long
sheer sleeves, ruffled neckline
and a deep ruffled skirt of apricot
and green floral design. The
modified empire waistline was
accented with matching ribbon
trim.• They wore apritot fea-
thered carnations in their hair
and carried nosegays of white
shasta mums and tinted apricot
carnations with baby's breath.
Miss Julie Leitch, niece of
the bride of London was the
flower girl. Her dress was
styled similar to the bride's ,
dress with short sleeves and an
empire waistline accented with
apricot ribbon. She wore a
headpiece similar to the matron
of hour and.carried a miniature
nosegaY•

Miss Brencla Johnston was
the organist and accompanied
ihe soloist Miss Marjorie Proc-
tor when she sang "It's Only

ding song".
The reception was held at
the Brussels Legion Hall, Brus-
sels.
The bride's mother wore a
floor-length 'gown of mint green
polyester cashmere with beaded
trim, bon e accessories and a
white orchid corsage and the
groom's mother was dressed in
a floor-length gown of turquoise
polyester cashere, matching ac-
cessories and a white orchid
corsage.
For the wedding trip to Nor-
thern Ontario and Quebec,
the bride travelled in a brown
and white crimp knit dress, brown
wet-look accessories and a cor-
sage of orange delight roses.

London, Ontario.
Guests were present from
London, Thorndale Hamilton,
Brussels, Listowel, Wingham,

A September evening wedding
was chosen by Doris Rintoul and
Leonard Robinson who exchanged
vows Saturday, September 2,1972
in Chalmers Presbyterian
Church, Whitechurch. Victor
Wybenga of Whitechurch and
Rev. John Roberts of Belgrave
United Church officiated, in a
setting of candles, summer
flowers and gladioli.
Organist Jim Robertson of
London accompanied the soloist,
Miss Judy McDowell of R. R.1,
Belgrave, who sang "I'll Walk
Beside You" and the "Wedding
Benediction".
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. William E. Rin-
toul of Whitechurch and parents
of the groom are Mr. and. Mrs.
Roy Robinson of R. R. 1, Belgrave.
Mr. Rintoul gave his daughter in
marriage.
The bridal gown was floor-
length white polyester satin fea-
turing stand-up collar trimmed
with embroidered lace and long
full sleeves. The same lace
trimmed the yoke and front of
the gown and a train fell from
the empire waistline. Her three
tierred shoulder-length veil fell
from a round headpiece trimmed
with the same lace as on the
dress and she carried a bouquet
of pink carnations, pink roses
and trailing ivy.
Matron of honour was Mrs.
Sharon Campbell, sister of the
bride of Listowel, and brides-
maids were two other sisters,
Mrs. Anne Oberholtzer of Barrie
and Mrs. Donna Gutaskie of Kit-
chener, and the bride's sister-in-
law Mrs. Helen Rintoul of R.R.
2, Lucknow. They were gowned
alike in floor-length gowns. Th e
bodices were sheer white
polyester with long Victorian
sleeves trimmed with dainty im-
ported lace. Tiny covered but-
tons and turquoise lace enhanced
the' dresses and a turquoise bow
with streamers topped a gathered
skirt. Each attendant wore white
shasta mums in her hair and
carried a white basket of tur-
quoise shasta munis and trailing
ivy.
Larry Robinson of R.R.1, Bel-
grave was groomsman and guests
were ushered by Neil Rintoul of
R.R. 2, Lucknow, Ted Weiss of
Kitchener and. Roger Bieman of
Belgrave. r`
