for this year/ We have a great
many people who are in deep
trouble; many have a Gospel that
declares that a man may be0orne
a new creature through the power
of God. We've never known a time
in the history of our church when
there was a greater need for a
clear and faithful proclamation
of the Gospel,. than right now.

The Bible study was Romans:
faith, and faith alone, from Pro-

in the ,Observer. Rev, John
Roberts kindly gave of his time
to answer the questions: Can •a
modem man Malty accept the
doctrine of original sin in the
form In which. Paul presectS
and secondly, in, Romans 9 Paul
uses the analogy of the pOtter.
Can we think of ,God making and
breaking men as a Potter makes
and breaks his vessels? Does
this agree with the idea of God
as father?
