HomeMy WebLinkAboutThe Brussels Post, 1972-08-23, Page 5Mrs. Mae Rock of Ethel had on display one day last week
a plant rarely seen in bloom. It was a Day Blooming cactus.
which flower infrequently and then only for 24 hours. The
cactus had two lovely flowers, on long, slender stems which
fell with the weight of the blooms, on opposite sides of the
cactus. The numerous delicate petals clustered to form
a rather bell-shaped white flower that had a distinctive
fragrance of its own. (photo by Thompson)
