Edmonton arrived home on Friday. Lester Machan, Toronto, has been visiting at home with his mother, Mrs. Leonard Machan. Mr. and Mrs, Roy Cousins leave this Thursday for a trip to Alaska. They will travel by air to Vancouver and from there to Alaska by boat. Dr. and Mrs. Wm. Stiles of Bashaw, Alberta, their daughter Nancy and granddaughter Kari Rae and Mr. and Mrs. Edwin and Nancy Ann Kasawski of Slave Lake, Alaberta spent a few days with Jim and Jean McNeil las weekend. Jack Thynne, who has been a patient in Wingham and Dis- trict Hospital returned home on Friday. Miss Joyce Huether, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. MurrayHuether, was successful] in passing her registered nurse's exams written in Hamilton recently. Miss Hue- ther is a graduate of St. Josephs Hospital, Guelph. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Whit- field and Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Rann last week circled Lake Superior and Lake Huron with stops at Marquette, Mich., Iron- wood and Thunder Bay. They also visited with former Bru- ssels residents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Coleman of Wawa, Ont. Mr. and Mrs. John Clark, have returned home after vis- iting a month, with Mr. and Mrs. R. Wirt, and Mr. and Mrs. Chas. McMaken of Piqua, Ohio. They also visited Dr. and Mrs. Mc- Cutheon of Berwick, Penn. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Mc- Whirter, Frank and Ella Alcock and Mrs. Gloria Vodden, spent the past weekend with Dr. and Mrs. W. L. McCutcheon of Ber- wick, Pa. Mr. and Mrs. George Mc- Nair of Hamilton spent a.fewdays with Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Perrie last week. Mr. and Mrs. McCurdy Lowry of Rocky River, Ohio, were visitors in Brussels last week.
