News of
Huronview
Arie. Van Den Ende led the song service on Sunday
evening assisted by members of the Clinton Christian
Reform Church.
Eighty residents from Huronview travelled by' bus
on Monday to spend the afternoon at Pinelake, follow-
ing a short stop at the boat dock area at Hayfield. Every-
one enjoyed an hours rest beside the lake before supper.
A picnic supper was served to the residents by members
of the staff and volunteers, returning to the home at
five thirty. The management appreciate the generosity
of the Elliotts of Pinelake for providing the accomodation
for the afternoon and for the assistance of the campers
who helped with the picnic supper.
There was a Scottish tilt in the air at Huronview on
Thursday evening when the Brussels Pipe Band along
with two Clinton Band members played for a concert
on the lawn. Most of the residents were able to enjoy
the concert either outdoors or from the west windows
of the home. The band played several familiar tunes
in a circle; performed a drill on the front parking lot
and finished the concert with the very popular bagpipe
tune, Amazing Grace.

There is no need for a flash-
er light on the HighwaY in Bel-
grave the Ontario ministry of
Transportation has told. Morris
Federation of Agricultural.
Charles Higgins, secretary
of Morris Federation of AgrieUl-
ture had written to the Ministry
regarding the removal of the
flasher and this is the reply he
received from M.H, Sea.ley, Reg-
ional, Traffic Superintendent.
"Last year it was brought
to our attention that this aSsexnbly
was in dire need of repairs,
but a subsequent. intersection
study in the summer revealed that
the traffic conditions at this lo-
cation no longer warranted an
overhead flasher.
Therefore, instead of making
expensive repairs on an un-
warranted assembly, we decided
to remove it altogether.
