McTavish, who had an arta wrenched off at the Windham planing trill last week, is a brother-in-law of our towns- man, Mr. R. Henderson, turnkey. Miller, principal of the Central School, submitted the regular monthly report. of attendance, &c., in the different departments, which was re- ceived and filed. RESIGNATION. A communication was read from bliss Drummond, resigning her position as prin:ipal of St. Patrick's Ward School. The resignation was accepted by the Board with regret, as Miss Drummond hail proved herself an efficient teacher. had taken her aside when he had occas- ion to remonstrate with her. He did nut speak to her before her pupils. The teacher was too domineering towards the caretaker.
