N orths id e United Church pro-
vided the setting for the marriage
of Christine Turnbull and Donald
Murray on June 24, 1972. Rev.
M.E.Reuber and Rev. Father
Costello of Windsor officiated
for the double-ring ceremony.
Parents of the couple are
Dr. and Mrs. John Turnbull,
Seaforth and Mr. and Mrs. Mar-
tin Murray, Dublin.
The organist was Miss Mar-
jorie Papple. Mr. Brian Melady
and Mr. Tom Burke sang "The
Wedding", "Joy is Like The
Rain" and "They Know We Are
Christians by Our Love." They
accompanied themselves on their
guitars.
The bride, given in marriage
by her father wore a gown of
flocked organza over ivory ta-
fetta. The sleeves were long
banded with a deep French cuff.
The skirt was softly hemmed
with a wide flounce. Reminis-
cent of the Gibson girl era, the
bride chose an ivory straw hat,
completed with silk flowers and
Katherine Arletta Fear, Kit-
chener, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Robert M. Fear, RR 3, Blyth and
David Roy Wilson, Kitchener, son
of Mr. and Mrs. George Wilson,
Kitchener were united in mar-
riage by Father Cullaton in St.
Joseph's Church, Kitchener on
Saturday, June 24th at 4:00 p.m.
The solOist, Mr. Donald
Landry, Kitchener sang Wedding
Prayer, Lord's Prayer and Ava
Maria.
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, wore a gown of
white silk organza, appliqued with
lace medallions, with long full
sleeves and a chapel train. Her
waist-length veil was held by a
Juliet cap of lace and pearls.
Her bouquet was white roses and
yellow daisies.
Miss Velma Fear of Blyth,
sister of the bride, was maid of
honour. Bridesmaids were Mrs.
Ken Hunter of Collingwood and
Mrs. Don. Cassidy of Kitchener.
Their silk organza gowns feat-
ured white bodices with orange
and yellow flowered skirts, long
full sleeves. Orange rose buds
were worn in their hair and they
carried bouquets of flowerS in
colours harmonizing w ith the
skirts of the dresses.

champagne silk illusion flowing
down the back. She carried a
tiny bouquet of bronze daisies
and orange roses.
Miss Cindy Eisler was maid
of honour. Bridesmaids were
Mrs. Janet Papple and Miss
Marlene Turnbull, sisters of the
bride,1Vliss Karen Henderson, and
Miss Gwen McLean. Their Swiss
dot voile dresses were green,
blue, peach and yellow respec-
tively. These dresses featured
an ankle length flounce and ruf-
fled bib. They carried miniature
bouquets of white daisies.
Mr. Ken Flanagan was
groomsman. Mr. Wayne Scott
and Mr. Dennis Murray ushered
the guests.
The couple will reside in
London.
A reception was held at the
Seaforth Golf and Country Club.
Prior to her marriage, the
bride was honoured by showers
at the home of Mrs. John Lan-
sink and Miss Cindy Eisler.
Mr. Don Cassidy of Kitchener
was best man and the guests
were ushered into the church by
Bill Fear of Blyth and Bill Stoe-
ser of Kitchener.
The bride's mother received
the guests at Wooler's Lodge, RR
3, St. Jacobs, Ontario in a floor-
length gown of polyester crepe
and lace. A corsage of coral
roses was worn to match her
gown. The groom's mother as-
sisted wearing a mint green
floor length gown of silk org-
anza. and a corsage of salmon
coloured roses.
For travelling to Northern
Ontario, the bride wore a navy
and white pant suit with red
accessories.
They Will reticle at 47 Dale-
grove Dr., Kitchener.
The bride's paternal grand-
mother Mrs. A. M. Fear, Blyth
was a guest at the wedding. A
pin, which belonged to thebride's
maternal great-grandmother was
worn for her wedding.

chantilly lace. Her elbow length
veil of French illusion fell from
a headpiece of daisies and pearls.
She carried a nosegay of white
carnations and yellow rosebuds,
Matron of honor was Mrs.
Shirley Simpson. Mrs. Jeanette
-F3omhof, cousin of the bride,
and Miss Ann Bieman, sister of
the groom, were bridesmaids.
They were identically gowned
in spring green crepe. The gowns
were styled with empire waists
, and long, flowing chiffon sleeves
gathered at the cuff., They wore
a single white daisy in their
hair to compliment their dres-
ses. They carried umbrellas of
yellow shasta mums with fern
intertwined. Flowergirls
Drimrnle and Mary Geddes
wore dresses styled similarly
to the senior attendants, in daffo-
dil yellow. They carried baskets
of white daisies with ribbon
streamers.
Best man was John Simp-
son and the ushers were. George.
Bieman, brother of the groom,
and Lorne and David Geddes,
brothers of the bride.
The reception was held at
the Steelworker's Hall, Fergus.
The bride's mother wore a
pink chiffon over crepe dress
with white accessories and a
corsage of a single natural or-
chid. The groom's mother wore
a beige satin dress with gold
brocading and beige accessories
and a corsage of a single nat-
ural orchid.
The bride and groom left
for a wedding trip to Northern
and Eastern Ontario.
They will reside in Elora.

riage vows in a double-ring cere-
mony on June 24 at 2;30 p.m.
in Ontario Street United Church
Clinton. Rev. Lawrence Lewis
officated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Karin Sprung of Strat-
ford was matron. of honor and
Ronnie Christensen, RR 4, Walton
was groomsman.
The wedding reception was
held at 'the Elm Haven Hotel,
Clinton.
Following their marriage, the
couple are residing in Victoria,
B.C.
