The power of the Dolphins ex.,
Pl9ded to lead them to a Pon• -
wincing 27 6 victory over the
helpless and hapless Highlanders
on July 12th. The mildmnnnered
mammals mounted amonurriental
barrage of hitting and saeksteal-
ing, led by wild Wayne.
This time as an early_
lief hurler, *sudden sun' Hitch,
pitched four innings of one run
ball, with Fiery Frank Stretton
finishing off the gUnningt adties.•
Besides the pitching heroics, the
Dolphins were led by the super
hitting rookie Max Watts, Gor-
geous George Langlois and Free-
loading Fred Stephenson.
In the nightcap action the Buc-
caneers held on for a 12 - 10
decision over the shorthanded
Clippers. Led by the pitching
of Ka.sual Ken. Scott and the
hitting of Steady Spark Kellingto n
and. Chico. Gord Machan, the C lip-
Pers suffered their first defeat
at the hands of the Bucs. Des-
pite the consistant hitting of the
dibbling Dale Ma.cha.n, the hust-
ling Buccaneers bruised the ego
of the clowning Clippers.
