the late Mr. and Mrs. John

The North Bay Nugget in its
issue of June 27 reported the
event;
The Protestant School Com ,-
mission sponsored a dinner at
White Oaks Ina which old
friends, and associates Of the
well-known teacher were in-
vited to attend. During the
afternoon a reception was also
held in which former students of
the teacher and residents of the
town, were afforded an opportunity
to say a farewell and extend
greetings.
Bill Hughes, president of the
• Protestant School Commission,
in a farewell address, said it was
a season of farewells, to old

St. Paul's United Church, she was
an active member of the Anglican
