JUNIOR AUXILIARY The Belgrave Junior Auxil- iary met in the Anglican church choir room Saturday morning with Judy Car nichael opening with games. Betty Meurs led in the opening exercies . Sheila Anderson took charge of the Roll Call. Connie Meurs read the minutes. The treasurer's report was given by Janette Johnston. Leaders for the next meeting are; Games, Bonnie Walker; sing- song, Karen Scott; to hlp with worship, patsy Scott.; to clear up / Audrey Scott 444 Bonnnie Walker, Cathy Walker helped. With the worship. service. Jo- anna Yen' Camp and Heather Young collected the offering and the offertory prayer was recited by Lisa Thompson, Senior girls worked on their special studies badge and learn- ing the books of the Bible. The juniors worked on. their second stripe which is learning to knit. The sing-song was led by Patsy Scott. Steven and Scott Stevenson are holidaying with their uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. David Miller of Mount Elgin. Mrs. Carl Procter was able to return to her home on Sunday after being a patient in Victoria Hospital, London. Mrs. Goldie Wheeler of Lon- don, visited on Sunday with Mrs. Herb Wheeler and also attended the Procter reunion. Mr. and Mrs. James Baker, of London spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Michie. Miss Mae Coulter of Aylmer visited on Friday with Mr. and Mrs. Lewis stonehou4e, All Womens' Institute mem bens and ladies of Belgrave corn- mpnity are invited to the picnic at 'the Belgrave, arena next Tues- day afternoon. Misses Brenda Johnston and Nancy Anderson are working as councillors at Rolling Acres Ranch near Varney for the month of July. Miss Martha Armstrong of Windsor spent a week with Mr. and Mrs. Willard Armstrong. Robert Hibbert attended a meeting of the executive of Lon- das Centre United Church, Lon- don on Sunday. Quite a number from this area attended the 12th July cele- bration in Goderich on Saturday. Athol Bruce of Belgra.ve L.O.L. 462 won the prize as best fifer with the best drummer being his daughter, Mrs. Reta Ross of Bluevale. Prizes for floats went to Blyth, Varna and Sarnia L.O.L. Mrs. John Roberts, Howard and Alison are, on vacation in I WaleS visiting with her parents and other relatives. Miss Ruth Ann Pletch and her girl, Miss Wanda Lee of Durham left of Friday morning by car to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Max Pletch and Krista of Dryden and from there will go on a trip to the west coast. After lunch the bride and ,groom were called to the front and an address- was read by Roy Taylor. John Thompson pre- sented them with a gift of money. Both Beth and Jerry made fitt- ing replies. EDGAR REUNION Relatives of the Edgar Clan attended the 24th annual. Edgar reunion on Sunday with 80 signing the register. The afternoon was 'spent in visiting, also games and contests were enjoyed by young and old. Following Grandpa Edgar's blessing given by Rev. William Henderson of Woodstock , all enjoyed a smorgasbord supper. A short business meeting was conducted by the president; Charles Johnston of Blyth.
