Mr. and Mrs. Ross Engel
celebrated their wedding anni-
versary with a family dinner at
the Blue Barn and then to List-
owel to the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Campbell Grant. Attending from
Cranbrook were Mr. and Mrs.
Engel and Monty, Mr. and Mrs.
Eldon Wick and Mr. and Mrs.
John Engel, Mr. and Mrs. John
Iroll, Monkton, Mr. and Mrs.
Wayne Smith, St. Marys and. Mr.
and Mrs. Barry Engel, Brus-
sels.
WI on tour
The Cranbrook W.I. convened
a bus trip to Hamilton. They
were accompanied by ladies and
friends from Moncrief and the
community. They had a guided
tour of Hamilton which included
the toll bridge, top of mountain,
Botanical Gardens and Dundurn
Castle. They did shopping in-
downtown Hamilton where many
secured tomato plants at the
Farmer's Market, to replace
those destroyed by the frost on
June 10. This was followed by

Lodge at Milverton, prior to the
evening session.
Mrs. Ed Giessier and daugh-
ter Betty, Fraser, Mich., spent
a few days here last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Dunn en-
joyed a motor trip to the South-
ern States.

The Sunday School teachers
and pupils enjoyed a picnic on
Saturday, June 17th. Beginning
at 10 a.m. they had a nature
tour of a bush and beaver dam
in Grey twp. Later at Bluevale
they saw a man made dam, then
to Centennial Park, Wingham.
Here they had lunch and the
children enjoyed the play equip-
ment, games and races. They
had a copper guess, peanut
scramble and fun with balloons.
