On June 7th the highlanders
and the Buccaneers met 0,11 the
field tn do battle, but since the
Buccaneers were unable to field,
a team, for the second, night in a
row, the game was forfeited to
the Highlanders by, a score of -7 -
0, With, some spare players
the Buccaneers played the
Highlanders in an unofficial

innings allowing 33 hits and 7

innings of play. The Clippers
started their rally in the fourth

the Clippers allowing 11 hits, 5

For the Buccaneers was.
James '"Long Ball" Prior whose
hot bat, clobbered MacLean for
2 home rune' and 2 triples.
For the. Highlanders was
Donnie Bray with his excellent
glove hand in centre field and 3
hits for 5 trips to the plate.
For the Clippers was Bobby
"Bullet" Elliott with 2 singles,
2 doubles and a triple.
For the Dolphins was George
La.nglois with the big bat, hit-
ting 4 - 4.

labour and a few hard working
Lions contributing the labour to
complete the task.

Federation of Agriculture met
at the Morris Township Hall on
Thursday with 18 present. Bill
Crawford, Huron County Federa-
tion of Agriculture field man,
discussed his work in Huron.
It was decided to give a grant
of $10.00 to Brussels Centennial
Parade. It was also decided to
ask Morris Twp. Council about
the possibility of a speed limit
sign on Con. 4, Morris at the
East entrance to Belgrave and
also on the Centre sideroad at
the South entrance to Bluevale.
A letter was sent to the Depart-
ment of Transportation and Com-
munications asking them for an
explanation on why the traffic
warning lights were removed at
the main intersection on Highway
No. 4 in Belgrave.
