They returned with a trophy for second place. The rules were a little different and this caused some difficulty, but our girls soon adjusted to that and came out strong. At our own volleyball games which are held during noon hour, Glenn McLean's team is in first place for grades 7 & 8. Lorie McLorie's team is in first place for grades 5 & 6. Next week we start our playoffs. PAST EVENTS Last Friday Grade eight held a Valentine's dance and earned about $20.00. On Feb. 12 Susan Langloi$ and Fern Elliott went to Goderich for public speaking. Susan captured a first for Grade 1 - 6 and Fern a second for Grades 7 - 8. About 55 of Brussels' pupils went to Ethel twice to produce our Mary Pop- pins play. Here we earned $15.00. Some of the sum raised goes toward the support of a 10 year old child from Hong Kong. The people in charge of the St. Simon's Hostel project now are Janice Draper and Laverne Mason. - Fern Elliott - Gina Dyk - Murray Wheeler OPNOTCH TOPNOTCH FEEDS LIMITED ANNOUNCING MORE SERVICE FOR THE FARMER We are now equipped with a sucker on our truck for loading grain, as well as a blower for unloading bulk feed for farm-. ers to use when wanting grain picked-up . to be made into feed.
