Members of the Majestic Wo-
men's Institute of Brussels, ,at
their February meeting, in keep-
ing with the 75th Anniversary
of the Federated Women's Ins-
titues of Ontario, will have as
their theme "75 Years In
Review". The Women's Institutes
have done a wonderful work over
the years. They have improved
the abilities of women, especially
in rural areas, in many fields.
They sponsor courses for girls
in 4-11 Homemaking Clubs that
better fit them for homemakers
and citizens. Happy anniversary
to them and may they continue
their work here, and elsewhere
for many years to come.

Brussels council once more
haS requested that all snowmobile
operators co-operate • in keeping
off main street sidewalks before
some person gets seriously in-
jured. There have been a number
of cloie calls when people have
stepped out of doorways directly
into the path of a snowmobile. A
word to the wise should be suf-
ficient. Attention is also directed
to the fact that it is illegal for
anyone under the age of sixteen
to operate a snowmobile and
parents are liable if they have an
accident.
