Wingham OPP Complete
Area Investigations
During the week January 23
w January 29, Ontario Provincial
Police, at wingham carried out
the following investigations;
Four charges laid under the
Highway TrAffic Act with four
warnings issued.
Twenty investigations under
the Criminal Code of Canada.
On January 25, Alan E. Hod-
gins of R.R.#2, Thamesford, had
stopped his 1971 Dodge on High-
way #4 in a storm, and at the
scene of other collisions. James
H. Boughner of R.R.#1, Southwold,
was northbound on #4 Highway,
and struck the rear of the Hodgins
vehicle. There were no injuries,
and damages were estimated at
$375.00.
Wayne McClinchey of Blyth,
was travelling east on Drummond
Street, Blyth, in a 1965 Chevrolet.
Murray Manning of Blyth was
driving his 1967 Rambler south on
Highway #4. Both vehicles
applied brakes, and slid into each

peared in last week's issue of
• the Brussels Post created a great
deal of interest amongst our
readers. They are looking for-
ward to more of the same kind
of pictures in the future. The
one last week was of a Sunday
School excursion to Kincardine.

A snowmobile reported to
have been stolen on Friday night
was later recovered two miles
out of Brussels. This is the
first snowmobile theft we have
heard about here.

On Jannary 29, Heinz Eisen-
burger of Lucknow, WAS pro-
ceeding east on Victoria Street,
in a 1970 Pontiac, and pulled
over to the right to allow a
vehicle driven by Frederick J.
Saint, wingham, to exit from a
one-lane bridge. When the Saint
Vehicle left the bridge, the front
left corners of both vehicles
collided . Damages were
estimated at $650.00. No one
was injured.
