NOTICE OF
ANNUAL MEETING
The 88th Annual Meeting of the policy holders of
the Elma Farmers Mutual Fire Insurance Company
will be held in the Orange Hall, Atwood, on Wednesday,
February 9th, 1972, at 2;00 p.m. for the purpose of
receiving reports of the directors and auditors and
disposing of the same, for the election of officers
and any other business that may rightfully come before
the meeting.
Notice is hereby given that the directors have
considered and revised the By-laws of the Elina.
Farmers Mutual Fire Insurance Company to conform
particularly with Bill No. 81 (1971) an Act to amend
the Insurance Act, and Bill No. 48 (1971) an Act to
amend the Corporations Act as they affect article 16,
voting of members, article 21, qualifications of
directors, article 23, agents, article 38, bonding and
article 57, auditors.
A copy of the revised By-Laws may be seen at the
head office of the company, Main Street, Atwood, prior
to the annual meeting.

Mrs. Bray entertained the
afternoon unit of the U.C.W. at
her home with 26 ladies in atten-
dance. "0 God Our Help in
Ages Past" was sung and the
Scripture from the Gospel. of
John 15: 1 - 12 and Acts 4:
13 - 21 was read by Mrs.Smith.
Mrs. LeDrew continued the
worship with comments and read-,
ing entitled 0,Joy".
The business was convened
by Miss Skelton. An encourag-
ing financial report was given by
Mrs. Smith. It was redom mended
that support be given a mis-
sionary as a special project.
Miss Lucas introduced the
study book on Africa - a large
continent of 300 Million populat-
ion who use 800 different lang-
uages. Each lady was given a
Copy of a favourite African
recipe.
Miss Skelton pronounced the
Benediction. Mrs. Thomas has
invited the group to her home for
the meeting on February 1st.
