Since I haven't received any
wild sobbing phone calls or
letters for me to return to your
village I take it you took my de-
parture very,. well, I must
however confess, I truly miss
living there, as 1 do have a lot of
good frier* there. One thing
I really missed was painting the
towp red at christmas.
My main purpose however is.
to thank all the peopleot Brussels
for all the help sand kindness we
received in all my family
Illnesses. The cards and letters
sent to Vic at. Victoria Hospital
were greatly appreciated. In the
eight Years we lived in Brussels
we felt very much at home.

honourable mention for helping to
move a rather heavy wardrobe he
thought he wouldn't have to move
again after giving it to me four
years ago. Thanks Fellows.

Tax reform legislation has been passed by
Parliament and is now law.
What does tax reform mean to you? How will
it affect you?
To answer these questions, the Department is
conducting a massive national mailing program.
Booklets are now being printed and mailed to all tax-
payers as quickly as they come off the press.
The complete mailing will be finished in about
five weeks.
All taxpayers will receive at least two booklets—
"Highlights' for Individuals" and "Valuation Day".
These should provide answers to most of your
questions.
Some taxpayers will receive additional informa-
tion, according to their specific needs.
Read your booklets. Afterwards, if you have
questions, ask us. We'll be glad to help.
You will find that your booklets will make it
easier to file your income tax return in 1973, because
they will help you to prepare now.
