Two groups of Carol. Singers visited. Huronview on.
Christmas Eve and were guided through the building by the
nursing staff. The young People of the Goderich Penticostai
Church arrived at eight o'clock and the folks from the Clinton
Christian Reform at nine, with each group singing carols for
an hour.
The residents received a lovely Christian calendar
following the Sunday evening song service from the Clinton
Christian Reform Church. Mr. Dick Roorda led the service
with devotions taken by Mr. Beukema.
Mr. and Mrs, Bill Holland, Miss Becky Howes, Barbara
Bosnian and Betty Jewitt contributed several musical
numbers at the Wednesday afternoon get together provided
t• by the Clinton Kinette Club. Lunch* was served by the
ladles with everyone joining in the singing of carols.
Mr , Tim Bigelow arranged and introduced the program
by the Young People of the Hayfield Baptist Church on
Family Night. The musical program included instrumentals
trumpet solo, John Bigelow, Piano solo, Wendy Greer, with
vocal numbers by Cathy Bigelow, Mrs. Joe Chapman, Wendy
Greer, Mrs. Bigelow and several selections by the chorus.
Pastor and Mrs. Bigelow closed the program with a few
words of encouragement to the residents wishing them
health and happiness in the New Year.

For the past 23 years the
JCennedys have carried on the
Post as a family affair assisted
only by their sons Robert and
David during their school years
here. •
Originally an eight full size
page paper containing several
pages of ready print, the Post
was changed to tabloid Size in
1963 with all pages produced
locally. Other improvements
which Mr. Kennedy carried out
in recent years were the instal-
lation of a late model Linotype
and changes in the front of the
property.

On behalf of residents and
staff of Huronview, I would
like to say a heartfelt "Thank
You" to all the people of Huron
County and surrounding com-
munities who came to Huronview
during 1971 either in groups
or individually to entertain,
take part in activities with,
or visit relatives and other
residents.
You can have no idea how
much this giving of your time
and talent means to folks here.
Everyone likes to hear from
people "back home" and for
some of our residents you are
their only link with the old
community.
Again., thank you and Happy
New Year.
