ETHEL Mrs. L, Smith left Friday to spend Christmas with her two sons in North. Battleford, Sask. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Dunn and family visited over the weekend with Mr, and Mrs, Percy Stephen- son, Mr. and Mrs. George Pearson and Bill„ and Mrs. J. Pearson visited in London with Mr and. Mrs. Don Swift. Ethel Hall Board Meeting Ethel Hall Board held a meeting in November in the Community Centre. It was decided to make some repairs, also to get new steps at the rear of the hall for fire exit.. Rates for the hall rent were set as follows: $7.00 for hall left clean, for one night. 8,4.00 for W.I. dishes and $1.00 for W.I. glasses, extra over rent. Folding chairs and long tables could be taken out of hall. No stacking chairs or stacking tables to be removed, also no card tables to be removed. Ethel W.I. Christmas Meeting The Ethel Women's Institute held their Christmas meeting at the home of. Mrs. Wm. Dobson. A delicious turkey dinner wasserv- ed to sixteen members. The meeting followed. Minutes were read and roll call answered. It was decided to help in the Cancer Fund also donate to the War Memorial Hospital., Other business was held over, Mrs. John Brink presented Mrs. Stan Speiran with a gift for her many years of service, Mrs. Wm.
