It was standing room only
the audierium on Friday after-
noon for the annual Hallowe'en
partw, Several residents and staff
in costume led the parade to
music by the Huronyiew ()reit-
estra assisted by Mr. and. Mrs,
Bert Finlay of Cederieh, Follow-
ing an hour of dangipg and games,
apples, candies, and cookies were
served. The afternoon proved to
be quite a success and the co.
Operation of the staff and volun-
teers was greatly appreciated.

Members of the Senior Citizens
Club of Goderich joined the resi-
dents fOr an afternoon of pro-
gressiVe euchre and game.. on
Wednesday. Twelve tables of
euchre were played with Francis
and Charles Jeffs sharing
high scores. Consolation winners
were Mrs, MCKay and Tom Clark,
Communion service Was held in
the chapel this week with Rever-
end Russell of the Anglican
Church Officiating on Thursday
morning and Father Kelly, Clin-
ton on FridaY morning,

arranged the entertainment for
Family Night with the president,
Keith Williamson introducing the
J rogram, The Junior Farmer
Choir direeted by Rev. Docker of
Walton sang several selections:
there ,were vocal numbers by the
Henderson sisters, Darlene.
Donna, and Debbie; duets by
Graee Campbell Ruth Townsend,
Irma Pryce and 'Evelyn Storey;
solo by Graham Craig; step danc-
ing by Bill and Murray I-Tender-
son; and square dancing by the
Junior Farmer set with Mrs.
Orville Storey Calling. AccomPan,
ists for the program were Mrs.
Henderson and :Irma Pryce. Miss
Gray thanked the, entertainers
on behalf of the residents.

There Is still indecision Within
Huron County Council Concerning
whether or not Midwestern On-
tario Development Association
should be cut off in 1972 without
financial support from the county.
A resolution of the county
development committee chaired by
AleX McGregor to discontinue
financial support to MODA in 1972
was defeated by. a 20-20 tie vote.
No further action will be taken on
