on Saturday.
3rd Meeting of "Dairy Belles"
The third meeting of the Cran-
brook "llairy.Belles" was held at
the home of Sharon Stevenson on
September 27th. The meeting was
opened with the 4-H pledge. The
minutes were read, by Sharon
Engel. They discussed milk i s big
business, get your money's worth,
intelligent shopping, proper home
care, good cooking, custards and
cottage cheese. Cottage potatoe
salad and a custard were made at
the meeting. The meeting closed
with the 4-H motto.
W.M.S. Evening Group
The September meeting of the
Evening Group of the W.M.S. was
held at the home of Mrs. Stuart
Stevenson, with an attendance of
17. The Presbyterial visitor, Miss
Elspeth 'Davidson, StratfOrd, was
'present and told of her work as
Presbyteri al . Treasurer. Eight
Members of the Afternoon Group
were guests. .Mrs, Gordon Engel

Clare Veitch was pianist for the
meeting. The topic `Tlie Christian
Textbook" (the Bible) was given
by Mrs. Stuart Steiss and Mrs.
Jack Knight 'read a poem, "Will
You'?" Following the Mizpah
