the Brussels Fair Grounds on
Thursday, September 16th.

Float Eriirieg
This year another Class has
been added to parade floats in
additio to school 'loafs.
good .cash prizes are
given for Organization and Coin-
mercial floats: 1st $20; 2nd $18;
3rd $16; 4th $15; 5th $15.
It is hoped there will be a
a number of ,these floats entered
from Brussels and .Community
The committee in charge ask that
entries, stating the theme of the
float will be handed in on Thurs-
day, September 23 to assist the
judges in making their decision
,as to how well the theme: has
been carred out.
Fair Queen Competition
Sothe young lady from Brus-
sels or the surrounding commun-
ity will be crowned Brussels Ti'air
Queen at the Crystal Palace on
the Thursday evening. She Will
reign during the fair and will be
eligible to compete at the 1972
ONE contest for Queen of Ontario
Fairs. For more details see item
elsewhere in this issue.
