the topic on "Where the Real
Aption Is.", • It being the life story
of a policeman who in later yeari
realized that God was more im-
portant than his work, Mrs. Ross
Bennett presided for the business
The minutes of the last meeting
were read by the secretary, Mrs,
John Bos, The roll call was an-
swered by 10 members and there
was one visitors present. Business
was attended to and plans were
made for lunch to be brought to
a shower in the church at the end
of this month. Next meeting is to
be held at the home of Mrs. Hugh
Johnston and the Roll Call to be
answered by, ."Something for
Labor Day" Mrs. M. Bann read a
poem entitled, Outward Appear-
ance. The meeting closed with
the Benediction repeated in unis-
on, followed by Mrs, Martin Baan,
Mrs. Jim Williamson and Mrs,
Cliff Ritchie serving a tasty
lunch.

meeting in the YM-YWCA, Strat-
ford, at 8:00 p.m., on Friday,
