the marriage of Pamela Elizabeth
Ann, daughter of Mr. and .Mrs.
John MacGillivary of RR 1, Dor-
chester to ,Tames Bruce Clark,
son of Mr. and Mrs. James Clark
of Walton, on Friday, evening,
May 21st, 1971, Rev. Wells
:Robinson performed the cere-
mony amid potted yellow mains.
The organist Mrs. H. Ferguson of
Tbamesford played the Wedding
Prayer prior to the wedding, The
Lord's Prayer and the 23rd
Psalm during the signing of the
register, The bride, given in mar-
riage by her father, wore a floor-
length gown of white satin with
an empire waist, bight neckline,
pink imported lace overlay and a
detachable cathedral train. Her
tiered veil was held with a pearl
headdress, Her boquet was a cas-
cade of white mums and yellow
sweetheart roses. The maid of
honor, Betty Mason and brides-
Maids, Judy Burroughs and Bev.
Reading, all of Dorchester, wore
floor-length gowns of chiffon in
pastel yellow, pink and blue with
black velvet jackets. They carried
smaller nosegays to match the
color of their dresses. The hest
man was Gary Bennett of London
and the ushers were Keith Clark,
brother of the groom and Tom
Leeming, cousin of the groom. At
the reception at the NordenRest-
atirant in N'ilestown, - the bride's
mother 'received gueSts in a light
blue. coat dresS. Her corsage was
of: deep yellow sWeetheart.roses.
The groom's •. mother received
guests wearing • a 'light pink and
niauye.jerSey.dress 'With pink ac-

Niaga.ra Falls, the bride wore a
dark cream pant suit. with white
accessories. The couple now re-
side at 75 Chyenne Ave., London.

W. T. was held on. Wednesday
evening, June 16 in the Walton
Hall with members repeating the
Mary Stewart Collect,. Institute
Ode and 0 ra.nada. The President,
Mrs. Gerald Watson,• presided for
the business. Mrs. Harold Bolger
was 'pianist. The secretary, Mrs.
W. H. Humphries called the roll
which wa s "My favourite room
in the house and Why". Minutes
of the last meeting and cor'res'-
pondence was read. A Tweeds-
muir Workshop to he held for the
curators. An invitation Was ac-
oenterl from .inyth Institute on
July 7th at 8 pan. The treasurer
gave her report, $25 will be given
to Mr.: and. Mrs, Merton gaowejl o
who recentlyy lost their barn by
fire, Mrs. Wrn, Humphries agreed:
to make a. erochet centrepiece to
be sold at the gift stall for the
convention next fall. $10 was
donated to the, Brussels Fait
Board. The July meeting will bp
convened by Mrs. Jim Axtmann
and Mrs. Murray Smith for His-
orical Research and. Current
Events. Roll call, bring Oldest
piece of jewellery and tell its
history. Grandmohers are to be.
guests, also bring something for
antique collecion. Lunch commit
tee at this meeting will be Mrs. J.
A.xtmann, Mrs. Laverne Godkin,
Mrs. Dave AVatson and Mrs:
Clarence Martin. Mrs. N. McGavin
to be the pianist. The 4-H Girls
and their mothers and leaders

The four members representing
the Institute to the Hall Board
and the board members are to
look into the possibilities of in-
stallation of different washroem
facilities for the hall. A carnival`
type evening is being planned by
the convenors for the August
meeting when there will be pony
rides 'for the children and fish
pond, all persons of the coin,-
nmity are invited. There will be
further announcement of this
meeting after the ;filly meeting.

interesting poems, then intro-
duced Harold Robinson who show-
ed a film "Valley's and People",
which told of the vast area cover-
