Milverton was the guest speaker
at the June meeting of Melville
W,M,S, on Friday night. She told
the society and their guests of her
work as a teacher at 'Billies,
Manitoba. Indian School. Follow-
ing- her address, she showed a.
film strip, "Two Strangers",
contrast in the thinking processes
of the "Canadian Originals" and
the white people of .Canada.

Maitland River and is artistically
fiihiished with 'modern furniture.

numeeong paintings done by Mrs.
Ram' which adorned' the walls.
Their home has' 7 rooms with an
attached double garage, patios '
and beautiful lawns.
The restored home hefting-frig to
Mrs. Margaret Kelly is situated;
off Brussels main treet and was
built gi years ago by Alfreet,
Backer This large red briek home
has 11 rooms, 6' outside doors and
iitidoWs, Soule of which are
staffiefi glass, After it was bought
by Dr. and Sirs. Kelly in 1964' it
was renovated 04 ge`storec1 both'
interior and exterior. A garage'
was added and landSca,ping' done:.
The interior is tastefully decorat-
ed with period furniture. Many
comments Were made on her
many antiques. Trees, floWers
and shrubs added to 'the attract,
iveness of the home.
Mt. and Mrs. Hank TenPas and
family are justly proud of 'their
attractive, remodelled fraine home
which they purchased in 1961.
This was an old house but Mr.
TenPas,' who' is an excellent' tarp-
-enter has shown now it could be
qemodelled into an attractive and
eninfertable home. In 1969 an
addition: *`4.S' added to -this home
which now has 12' rooms and
double garage. A spacious lawn
slopes down to the hanks of the•
Maitland.
Following- the tour coffee and
refreshments were served at the
Lifirary. 'Mrs. Rae Hitether won
the door prize. Special, thanks
from the Majestic Women's insti
tute go to 'Mr. and Mrs. Ratm. Mrs.
Margaret lcir elly and Mr and [Mrs.
Hank TenPas for allowing -us to'
tour their homes. Thanks also to
the Listewel Florist for. SulMiTing
corsages for our hostesses,
Cochrane and presented her with
a gift.
Mrs. Gerald Gibson was in
charge of the meeting. The de-
votional period was in charge ot
Mrs, W. W. Smith who read the
scripture. Mrs. C. Matheson who
road. a meditation on Tolerance
and Mrs. Joseph Martin who led
in prayer.
Mrs. W. C. King played a lovely
piano solo.
Lunch was served at the close
of meeting by the igoo1al cern-
